Jeff was born and raised in New Jersey. He graduated from St. Michaels College in Burlington, Vermont with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Jeff met and married his wife while working as a seasonal park ranger in Grand Teton National Park. Jeff and his wife worked there together for 10 years. Jeff then returned to school to pursue becoming a physician assistant. He graduated from King’s College Pennsylvania in 2000 with a Bachelors degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Jeff and his family have been in Boise since 2000. Jeff has been working with Dr. Manning since 2010. He enjoys the process of seeing patients in the clinic, determining what the problems are and seeing the transition from their condition before surgery and to the results afterwards. “It is rewarding to see patients who have had their pain resolved as a result of surgery.” Outside of work Jeff enjoys trail running, mountain biking, skiing, playing guitar and spending time with his wife and two children.
David grew up in Boise, graduating from Boise High School in 2003. He then attended the University of Washington pursuing a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering. During his training he worked as an intern in soil analysis with a global civil engineering firm. After finishing school and his internship, David began seasonal work including guiding river and fishing trips in central Idaho. During his time guiding he obtained his EMT – Basic and Outdoor Emergency Care certificates. This led to work at a primary/urgent care clinic in Alta, UT. After that experience, he decided to pursue a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating from Idaho State University 2017. He is excited to be part of a team, providing conservative and surgical treatment of neurological conditions, getting patients back to regular activity.
A native Idahoan, Katy graduated from Boise High School, and from The University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education. She has one son who keeps her busy with his many activities. These include baseball, skiing, flag football, and anything outdoors. She enjoys frequent walks in the foothills. She loves spending time in McCall with her family. As for work, Katy says “I enjoy meeting the patients and making the surgery process as easy as possible.”
Alyssa is a native Idahoan born in Caldwell, ID. She is married and has two adorable sons. She has worked in the medical field since 2009. Outside of work she likes running and reading. She started working for Neuroscience Associates in 2013. She says it’s rewarding to work with patients on a day-to-day basis and seeing their transitions, before and after surgery.
